PLANET PROJECT, with the support of SAKURA EXCHANGE GUAM, INC, will launch a Mastercard-branded virtual wallet and prepaid card service provided through MatchMove Pte. Ltd. With this service, customers in Japan and overseas will be able to make wide-ranging use of a more convenient prepaid card than ever before.

Service Overview

Under this project, we will sequentially roll out the following functions and services.

1. Provision of Virtual Wallet and Prepaid Card

Mastercard-branded virtual wallet provided through MatchMove Pte. Ltd.

Prepaid card usable both online and at brick-and-mortar merchants

Provision of a more seamless and secure cashless payment environment

2. Services for the Japanese Market

In Japan, by effectively utilizing proprietary points (with a validity period of less than six months) issued by sales agents, we will realize the following U.S. dollar–denominated charging methods:

Top-ups at convenience stores nationwide

U.S. dollar–denominated top-ups via bank transfer

This will provide an environment in which users can smoothly add U.S. dollar balances in their daily lives.

3. Service Expansion for Asia and the United States

Asia: Support for local deposit and withdrawal methods in each country through collaboration with third-party vendors

United States: Planned rollout of services under our brand for U.S. financial institutions

We will continue to expand payment and top-up methods tailored to the needs of each region.

Future Developments: Multi-Currency Support

In the first quarter of 2026, in addition to the current U.S. dollar–denominated service, we plan to offer payment services supporting multiple currencies (multi-currency).

This will allow users to flexibly select currencies according to their travel destinations and usage scenarios, and to make payments accordingly.

4. Provision of Payment Processing Services

For the Asian market, we will begin providing corporate payment processing services. These services will be offered to corporate clients as a platform for point utilization.
